Let’s give the youth (current 6th grade through 12th grade) of the Central Bay District the incredible gift of serving others this summer through our Student Summer Serve Trip 2024, WE BE TRIPPING! Our Central Bay District Youth will team up with mission partners in our own backyard of Big Rapids, Michigan.
Our experience will begin the second we step up to our seats on the limousine Thursday morning! Each limo will have its very own MC and ridiculously fun activities for the whole trip. All current middle school or high school students in the Central Bay District attending will get a “taste” of a Serve Trip by experiencing this two-day experience in Big Rapids, Michigan. We will be hands-on with our partners, helping them accomplish their unique mission with the people of our Big Rapids area. Everyone will be picked up by a fleet of limousines (A much less expensive transportation option) from three of our Central Bay District churches. Pick up locations to be determined by registration. The trip will end on Friday morning with a beloved service project before everyone heads for home in their limousine. Possible serve partners: Project Starburst, Evergreen Terrace, New Horizon Humane Society, and Mecosta-Osceola United Way.

TENATIVE SCHEDULE
Thursday, June 27
- 8:00am (at drop-off locations): Parent Orientation & Drop-off
- 8:30 am: Departure
- 10:30 am: Arrive at Big Rapids UMC drop off stuff and get service assignment
- 11:00 am: Lunch
- 12:00 pm: On site – Serve Partner Rotation #1
- 2:30 pm Snack & break
- 3:00 pm: Serve Partner Rotation #2
- 5:30 pm: Return to Big Rapids UMC
- 6:30 pm; Dinner & Share Experience
- 8:30 pm: Lock-In Fun Begins
- 12:30 pm: Lights out
Friday, June 28
- 8:00 am: Breakfast & Pack up
- 9:00 am: Serve Partner Rotation #3
- 11:30 am: Lunch and Send off
- 1:30 pm: Depart for home
