Youth Director Job Description
Frankenmuth United Methodist Church
6th – 12th grades
Hours– “Half-time” or 20 hours a week. This includes leading a small group (Sunday School) and attending worship on Sundays, some kind of midweek contact with students, and a weekly staff meeting with Pastor alone or with the ministry team for prayer, support and scheduling.
Salary package– Discuss in person- salary, benefits, housing, vacation.
Resources– Office space, a gym, two large classrooms designated for youth, access to the whole building for larger events. Mission trips and Bay Shore Camp opportunities. Service opportunities with our denominational district churches. Many opportunities for students to lead and to be known and loved in a small-town church. Freeland Youth Director
Freeland United Methodist Church is taking applications for a part-time youth director to conduct ministries for youth in grades 7 through 12. This will entail leading a weekly Sunday night youth program from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and organizing and participating in an annual mission trip. Position will require approximately 10 hours a week.

Sanford United Methodist Church Choir Director
Do you like directing an adult church choir? Sanford United Methodist Church is looking for you!
We have a 10:30 am worship service on Sunday mornings and our choir needs a part time choir
director. This is a 4-5 hour per week position with salary appropriate to your experience. Choir
practice is every Wednesday from 6-7 pm and we sing twice a month in worship.
We are looking for a choir director who reads music, who can choose appropriate music,
organize, teach and direct the choir during rehearsals and as we sing in worship. If you play an
instrument, that is a bonus!

Director of Youth Ministry – Caro UMC
Caro United Methodist Church in Caro, MI will hire a director of youth ministries to lead and grow our middle-high school youth program, to begin as soon as a qualified person is identified. The youth minister will work in cooperation with the pastor and lay leadership to develop a multi-faceted program of discipleship, outreach, and fun. Training in youth ministry (degree preferred) or a related field is required. 10-15 hours per week, with the possibility of greater responsibilities as the program grows. Compensation will be $8000-$10,000/year, depending on training and experience.
