“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 NLT
February is a month when we celebrate love, as we give special tokens of our affection to our loved ones. But try as we might, we can never give as great a gift as our Heavenly Father gave us when he sent his Son to live and die for us. In addition, as God’s children, He gives us Spiritual gifts with which we can serve Him and others.
These gifts are to be used to show God’s love to the world, so “they will know we are Christians by our love.” Sadly, many of us don’t know what our gifts are, or don’t know how to use them. Can you imagine a world where every child of God is using their Spiritual gifts and loving others as they love themselves?
If you have a desire to grow your faith, share your gifts and love others as God loves us, consider taking a Lay Servant Ministries class. These classes are designed to reflect God’s grace within us, so we can build and strengthen our community and meet the needs of the world around us. You can take one class, or all of them, and you don’t have to become a Lay Servant or Lay Speaker to enjoy these learning experiences with other committed Christians. Lay Servant Ministries is committed to partnering with you to reach people for Jesus Christ. Will you join us in this mission?
