be leaders—in their communities, their agencies, their governments, and their churches.
We are committed to ensure these opportunities reach women of all races and

These ladies from Central Bay District attended the 2024 (year correction from August
article) Mission u event at Mt. Pleasant First United Methodist Church on July 18th
through July 20th. We had a wonderful time. The fellowship and food were
amazing. The adult study leader Rev. Dr. B. Kevin Smalls and the children’s and youth
study led by the Rev. Kim Bos and her husband were both very good.
We have 2 major events planned for the rest of this year. Please consider joining us.
Central Bay District United Women in Faith Celebration and Training will be held at
Faith United Methodist Church in Coleman, Michigan on October 5, 2024. Our Keynote
speaker will be Rev. Michelle King, she will speak on “Making a Miracle. We will provide

Michigan Conference United Women in Faith Celebration and Training will
be held in our district at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Essexville, Michigan on
October 25, 26, 2024. More information can be found at this

Ladies, have you ever thought of joining the Central Bay District United Women in
Faith Leadership Team? Now is the time, we need you. Next year we will have several
positions open, Education and Interpretation Coordinator, Nomination Chair and
