Do you or your church collect items for Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC)? Are you wondering how to get the items to MMDC? Well, wonder no more!! There is now a local collection site in Midland. Items can be dropped off at 4760 E Wackerly Rd. Becky Jenkins, a former MMDC board member, will be happy to get items where they belong.
As it says on the MMDC website (midwestmission.org):
Our mission is to bring the hearts and hands of God’s people together to transform resources into humanitarian relief.
Located in Pawnee, Illinois (just outside of Springfield), MMDC is a cooperating depot with UMCOR. They collect and distribute items similar to UMCOR. School kits, hygiene kits, layette kits, bicycles, sewing machines, and so much more. They are conveniently located in the midwest region of the US for quick response to disasters.
