Remember to offer training on your church’s protection policy for ALL VBS/Sunday school volunteers over the age of 18. Schedule your date now and advertise, so you have plenty of time to get enough volunteers trained before summer and the fall season kicks off.
If you don’t have time to teach the class, or people can’t make your date, they can always go through the online training at Safe Gatherings – safegatherings.com and pay the $35 fee. Your church can choose to reimburse them if you have the budget.
